TECH DIFFICULTIES

If you read the last blog post, you'll know we had some technical difficulties back in May. Since then we've managed to get our Youtube channel back up, thanks to a special customer with the right connections 🙏
All of our videos and comments are back, YAY! The unfortunate news is that we lost (for good) all of our invaluable Google Reviews. If you'd like to help us out in that realm you can leave a new Google Review here.
Now for the fun news....

BUILDERS CHOICE

We have two brand new "Builders Choice" bikes for sale. Once or twice in a blue moon, Brad enjoys cultivating some creativity in designing a bike that he would want to ride. No waiting in the queue, the right build for the right person. These are both listed on our webstore - a hardtail mountain bike and a gravel bike. If you are local and want to take a look in person they are on display at Ride Workshop here in Steamboat Springs.

Farewell Ed, Welcome Jon!

Our famous mechanic Ed has recently retired! It's been a heck of an 8 years. He's the only mechanic we've ever had at Bingham Built and a damn good one. It's hard to see him go, but we wish him the best in retirement. In light of Ed's retirement, our new addition is the best one anyone could ask for. Welcome Jon Cariveau! Jon is no stranger to the bike industry and many of you might already know him. He and Brad worked at Moots together for many years back in the day. If he's not at the shop or guiding cycling trips, you'll know where to find him - pedaling around on Routt County gravel roads, even in the winter!

Welcome to the team Jon, we're so grateful and stoked to have you 🙏

PHILLY BIKE EXPO

We'll be there! March 8th - 9th. It's about time we did another expo and Philly is well worth the trip. If you're an east coaster we expect to see you there.

New Headtube Options

IS52/IS52 is an all new "segmented" head tube design, shown above. The upper and lower cups are designed for use with IS52 bearings and machined to Brad's specifications by Paragon Machine Works from 6/4 titanium. They are then pressed into a head tube center section and welded in house on the famous "Sir Sparks A Lot". With this new head tube you can fully integrate brake hoses from lever to caliper using components such as Enve's In Route System.
ZS44 Upper IS52 Lower,  shown below, is a first in the bike industry as far as we know! Killer aesethetics and lifelong durability are what you get with this set up.The lower cup is pressed and welded into the main head tube to give a seamless junction from frame to fork crown while the upper is a traditional 44mm zero stack cup and bearing.
